City Court Judge - Timothy A. Roberts

City Court Dates: Court hearings are held every Tuesday & Wednesday at 8:45 am.

  • Those attending court will enter through the Market Street entrance

Daily Operations:

The City Court office oversees civil cases and City ordinance violations. 

Payment Options: inance violations

  • Wabash City Court accepts payments by cash (for exact amount only) money order, cashiers check, and debit/credit card
    • If you are paying by debit or credit card, there is a small fee assessed by the card processing company
      • $0 - $31.00 - A fee of $1.00 will be added to your invoice
      • Anything above $31 - A fee of 3% will be added to your invoice
  • All payments can be made at 23 W. Market St., Wabash, IN 46992 
  • Please note the City Court office is closed between 12:00 - 1:00 daily 

Responsibility:

The City Court office is responsible for recording alleged violations of City codes and ordinances, hearing evidence presented in court, and ruling on cases.

Services:

Judicial Review/Due Process of Law – The court provides an opportunity for due process of law in civil cases.

Imposition of Penalties – The City Court Judge is responsible for imposing fines and penalties to defendants.

Communications, Public Information, and Court Scheduling – The Municipal Court is responsible for adhering to customer concerns, defendants to accommodate their needs throughout the judicial process.

Civil Collections:

  • All Claims are to be filed on issued claim forms - If available, please provide additional documentation relative to the case. 
  • The filing fee is $157, this fee is to be paid at the time of filing 
  • Claims may be filed for up to $10,000 plus the $157 filing fee
  • There is a $10 fee for each additional defendant 
  • There is a $15 fee for an officer service to a Wabash County address, cash can be provided with your paperwork
